Friends with Books is about to remodel the historical hall of Hamburger Bahnhof for a full week end of fair dedicated to art publishing. Over 180 artists, publishers, artist-run magazine and periodical are attending this year, enough to get lost in the one and only room of your imagination starting tonight at 6 PM. Founded in 2014 by the American curator Savannah Gorton and the German publisher Vanessa Adler (Argobook), Friends with Books is questioning what is publishing today? with a wide program of public events ” ARE YOU FRIENDS WITH BOOKS…?” featuring a music performance from Loré Lixenberg and La Plaque Tournante, a lecture and drag show with Annika Larsson and The Real Housewife of Neukölln ” Discourse OF THE DRINKERS”
